Founded in 1968, the Northwest Metro Association Board serves as a central source of information for our members and our main focus are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, the Northwest Metro Association has exerted its influence in civic affairs in its capacity of representing a substantial segment of the business community across Bartow and Gordon Counties.
The Association has contributed to various charities over the years by hosting fundraisers; such as, Toiletries Drive for Hickory Log, A Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter, Christian League for Battered Women, Baby Supply Drive for Women's Resource Center, Food Drive to provide over 125 families with complete Thanksgiving Baskets, Annual Blood Drive, Ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army, and a toy drive for Bartow's Christmas. In addition, the Association is dedicated to providing assistance to high schools students who are seeking to go to college. Each year the Association provides over $2,500 in scholarships through the Etowah Foundation.
NWMAR Membership provides a purpose, vision and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Members of the Northwest Metro Association of REALTORS® aim higher, gain more and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.
