Jerry Mauldin
Jerry Mauldin serves as Mayor of Fairmount, Georgia, having been elected in a special general election in March 2025 after first stepping into the role as Mayor Pro Tem during a period of leadership transition. Known for his steady, community-focused approach, he has guided Fairmount through change with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and the well-being of its residents.
Kacee Smith
Kacee Smith has represented Post 5 on the Gordon County Board of Education since 2018. A lifelong resident and graduate of Gordon Central High School, he brings a diverse professional background in business, insurance, and sports leadership. Kacee is a strong advocate for transparency, effective communication, and fiscal responsibility, working to ensure every decision benefits Gordon County’s students and families.
